9. Paper Bag Puppets

Creating paper bag puppets is an interactive and imaginative activity. Kids can make their own puppet characters and even put on little plays with their creations!

What You’ll Need:

  • Paper lunch bags
  • Markers, crayons, or paints
  • Fabric scraps, buttons, or yarn for hair
  • Glue or tape

How to Do It:

  1. Use a paper bag as the base for the puppet.
  2. Draw or paint a face on the flap of the bag.
  3. Add fabric scraps for clothes or yarn for hair, and glue them onto the bag.
  4. Let the puppet dry, then encourage kids to use their puppets for role-playing or storytelling.
