1. Finger Painting Fun
Finger painting is a fantastic sensory activity that encourages young children to get hands-on with their creativity. It’s also an excellent way for them to explore colors and textures while using their hands to create.
What You’ll Need:
- Non-toxic paints (washable)
- A large sheet of paper or canvas
- A plastic tray or table cover to protect surfaces
How to Do It:
- Set up the paper and paint in a child-friendly area.
- Pour a few colors of paint onto the tray or table, and let your child dip their fingers in and start painting!
- Encourage them to create abstract art or make handprint animals, trees, or flowers.

This activity is messy but oh-so-fun and gives children the freedom to express themselves without worrying about perfection!
